I wrote Confessions of 1980's Teen when I was twenty eight and it is mostly about how I moved around as a teen and had a hard time. I was extremely introverted and prideful-that was not a good mix among Mesa, Ariz rich teens. I was the misfit-Gossip Girl Killer Fest- Imagine Lord of the Flies- with Girls- silent- with invisible hurtful spears- I was Piggy, Ralph and Simon all in one. I also write poetry- and Rapture's First Scar- has more than one name- I can't make up my mind. Anyway it is about first loves- not just romantic but all kinds and how they are wonderful, hurtful and passionate!!!
Kori - I will have to read the "confessions" when I get a couple of minutes! Have you seen Romy & Michele's high school reunion? I'm always telling ppl that the popular girls in that movie are exactly like the popular girls at the HS I went too in Phoenix. And the Popular girls in Oregon were not even close to being that bad - it must have something to do w/the heat. Which just helps confirm my theory as to why the middle east is so eff'd up - to much SUN to much HEAT bakes the brain!!!
